There seems no way for this to end well. That this cretin wasn't heaved overboard within 48 hours of the first plagiarism revelation is puzzling. And the torrent that followed....

Maybe as some said 'never apologize, it makes you look weak' and probably the arrogance - and belief perseverance - of the operators of that institution convince them that they can take no remedial action and the problem will go away. It does seem they are unaware of both the magnitude of the problem and the likelihood of it continuing for quite a while.

Alienating Jews, a source of so much revenue both in tuition and endowments, is not smart for the Poison Ivy League. Potentially the current situation could become a sea change as Jews abandon not only the pricey universities but the Democrat party as well. Reports of Jews arming themselves in large numbers is certainly new. The terrorist attack that precipitated the current situation (exposure of antisemitism) may also be an unintended part of the master plan.

Likely Harvard believes with their massive fortune, even if reduced by a few billions, will remain sufficient to make it worth keeping this particular diversity hire at any cost.
