"The Manhattan District Attorney's office has asked for a meeting with law enforcement ahead of a possible indictment of former President Donald Trump next week, according to a court source."
according to
Fox News.
Hardly unexpected. I suspected they wouldn't be able to resist. The tangled mess of low-IQ people that populate the regime (this is a NY state office, but it's about the same) have likely been trying
do decide not so much whether to as when to. Their insane hatred for Trump would have seen him indicted already, but strategists at the federal level are giving the orders here.
The prosecutor is consulting law enforcement to request secturity, in case Trump supporters riot. Excuse me, insurrect. Of course no such thing will happen, so they will likely have some of the Burn Loot Murder
crowd to put on clean clothes and make them some 'right wing extremist' signs and do some burning, looting and murdering. No doubt some of those pretending to be white supremacists will be pressed into service.
The eventual result is as unpredictable as anything else at this point. An actual trial, if one occurs, is years away. After the 2024 election. So the idea is to prevent Trump from being nominated or
failing that to prevent his election.
Whether a Republican president is elected has little to do with the candidate this time. If the fraud machine can be overcome any decent candidate will win, and most likely sweep significant majorities
into both houses. If
Joetato (or his replacement should he assume room temperature beforehand) is elected it is pretty much
over. Any future elections (assuming there are any) will be predetermined.
Unless there is a
"MacArthur's Freehold" scenario quietly progressing to that end, things will probably get ugly. A national divorce scenario
would take too long, and with the presidency in hand (even losing one or both houses) there will be another four years of continued destruction. A separation might occur, as the federal forces are too feeble to deal
with a serious resistance:
A large resistance in the north-mid-west and another in the south could keep the feds out and allow the 30-50 million people who want to be left alone to enforce their will. If the two areas remained connected
(Kansas was the keystone described in
"Balance of Power" ) the regime holdings would be in two parts, with no land access. With surface
transportation broken the east would be in serious trouble.
"My political opinions lean more and more to Anarchy (philosophically understood, meaning abolition of control not whiskered men with bombs).
The most improper job of any man is bossing other men. Not one in a million is fit for it, and least of all those who seek the opportunity."
